Product and Warranty Guide for Office Chairs
Are the products as good as
other brands?
Every Situations model is fully tested by an independent testing lab to the highest industry standards including ANSI/BIFMA 5X.1 and California Technical Bulletins 116 and 117.
What are the terms of the
warranty?
The warranty is extended to
the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase (the original sales
receipt). All Situations chair have
a “Limited 15 Year Warranty”.
However, not all parts and components are covered for 15 years. Here is a breakout of the
coverage:
15 Year: Non-moving metal components or chair
frame
10 Year:
Pneumatic cylinder (gaslift)
3 Year:
Upholstery (fabric, foam, leather, etc.)
5 Year: All other components and parts not mentioned above
How should warranty claims
be handled?
There is a variety of options. The customer (or a store associate) can call one of the Situations Customer Service Center and request replacement parts. These parts will be mailed directly to the customer. The service center may request a copy of the receipt be faxed to them, prior to processing the claim. This is the best way to resolve issues and should be used whenever possible. Here are the correct numbers to call:
